PROJECTS
Every project below is one of ours, with the spans, lengths and covered areas as they were actually built, not indicative figures.
Our widest build to date. Twenty-five metres of clear span between the containers, thirty metres overall, running fifty metres in length, roughly 1,500 square metres of covered space with no internal columns anywhere in it.
Mounted outside to outside, so the containers themselves sit under the roof. Timber stays dry, forklifts keep moving, and there is nothing on the floor for a machine to drive around.
Covered area is the full 30m overall width across 50m of length. The clear span between containers is 25m.
A livestock operation needed housing for newborn stock, and needed it quickly. We supplied and installed ten 10m x 40ft shelters side by side on shared containers, so each container between them carries a shelter on both sides. Fewer containers, less ground taken up, and one connected run of covered space.
The white cover lets daylight through, so the space is bright without lighting, and the open design keeps air moving while the animals stay warm and out of the weather. Every shelter has full rainwater control, with guttering and downpipes taking the water away from the site rather than onto it. All ten were installed in under two weeks.
Bunnings needed covered, dry space for timber storage and for loading and unloading trucks, without giving up yard to a new building. So we designed a proprietary bracket that sits on top of their existing exterior pallet racking, and mounted the shelter to what was already there.
Because the racking was already fixed to the existing slab, the job needed no earthworks at all. Certified and approved, and from concept to installation in a matter of months.
Farms, quarries, depots, schools, sawmills and contractor yards. A selection of installations with the figures as built.

AgricultureCommercial Grower
Four 14m truss shelters over a central bank of 40ft containers, creating covered area for crop drying, machinery storage and workshop use. A 900mm vertical upstand adds clearance alongside the containers.
TransportContainerCo
Mounted on double-stacked containers so handlers and trucks work underneath rather than around. The full covered footprint stays available for staging.
QuarryingWinstone Aggregates
Double-stacking lifts the structure clear of working machinery, giving the height clearance loaders and trucks need while keeping processed product dry.
EducationBay of Islands College
Shelter from sun and rain that works as teaching space, storage and gathering area, without the cost or disruption of a permanent build.
FabricationBoat Builder
A double-stacked build with a hangar door, purpose-configured for large-format fabrication under cover and fully lockable overnight.
EducationHastings Boys'
A wide clear span giving the school a large covered area with no internal columns to work around.
HorticultureKiwifruit Grower
Covered area for seasonal produce handling, staff, equipment and harvested fruit through peak picking periods.
Wide Span24m Truss
Twenty-four metres between containers with no internal columns. The full width stays usable for plant, storage and vehicle movement.
A selection only. Over 3,500 shelters supplied across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
